The muse is around, but has been dedicated to work, almost-work and wedding work. Thankfully, the hard part of that is over, and it bore much fruit - a Florida beach wedding at sunset and an after-party in a rented house. A true crystalline, fairytale moment - stuff that mere mortals only get to touch a few times in their lives, if they're lucky. Honestly, I feel very blessed.

The honeymoon comes up next week - nine days in the Caribbean and on a boat, and that is going to be massive amounts of awesome. and afterward there will be much photo posting on here, I imagine - I'm planning on letting the camera run wild with me, so hopefully I'll have a few worthy shots.

Then, it'll be back to home and a lot quieter. And maybe, finally, I can sit down and art completely. One of my goals once we get back is to do what I've planned on doing for the past two years and turn our three-season front porch into a summer studio. It would be awesome to paint out there. I have so many ideas in my head, and I'll have some quiet time to myself once the hubby gets back into diving season.
